Our client is a well-established, mid-sized personal injury law firm located in downtown Tampa, and they are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support a busy litigation practice focused on catastrophic injury. This role is integral to the firm's day-to-day operations and requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment. In addition, the Paralegal is the primary point of contact for clients and is an integral part of building and maintaining those relationships.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to attorneys handling personal injury and insurance bad faith matters
• Assist with all phases of litigation, including case preparation, document management, and trial support
• Draft, edit, and format pleadings, correspondence, discovery materials, and other legal documents
• Manage case files and maintain electronic and physical records in compliance with firm standards
• Coordinate deadlines, filings, and court-related requirements
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and court staff
• Support attorneys with trial preparation and case logistics
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and legal staff to ensure efficient case progression

Experience & Education Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in personal injury and/or insurance law
• College degree or Paralegal Certificate highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

Compensation & Benefits:

• $60,000 to $70,000, based on education and prior legal experience)

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
